Radioplayer is a not-for-profit broadcaster-backed organization working to grow radio listening via connected devices (broadcast + IP) including in connected cars. It provides a vast array of official radio streams and high-quality granular metadata from hundreds of radio stations from thousands of broadcasters, originating from a growing number of countries – 23 to date. All accessible via the app, Radioplayer offers:

• official streams from public service broadcasters
• national and local commercial stations
• local broadcast content and podcasts

Leading OEMs have integrated Radioplayer’s official broadcaster metadata to power their hybrid radio experiences. These include Cariad (VW Group), BMW Group and Renault Group, who together represent over 40% of all European car sales. Radioplayer includes official radio station data.

Now part of SPARQ OS, the Radioplayer app can be accessed more widely and conveniently as part of ever growing and content-rich SPARQ store.
